Program Manager

R Systems is looking for a talented Program Manager to join our growing team focused on software development for the telecom industry.

As a Program Manager, your focus will be on delivering quality software development projects following time and on budget requirements, maintaining excellent relations with customers, creating and identifying new project opportunities for the clients, and delivering customer satisfaction.

Your contribution:

  • Manage complex or multiple projects, people, and line management, as well as customer presales discussions, next to technical representatives 
  • Take responsibility for delivery and line management in the program  
  • Build long-term and strong relationship with the customer, focusing on increasing the business with the customer (as volume and as different types of services) 
  • Maintain accurate projects pipeline/forecasts  
  • Generate leads, create offers, get the order, organize the project, and ensure overall customer satisfaction 
  • Handle invoicing, follow up for payments, ensure accurate revenue recognition  
  • Handle resources allocation and management, ensure a low attrition rate  
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting the quality and performance criteria and requirements  
  • Manage and monitor risk response strategies 
  • Reports regularly to Delivery Manager/Business Unit Director 
  • Collaborate closely with other Program Managers, Project Managers and Software and QA Engineers 
  • Ensure effective internal organization of your program by managing and monitoring overall project activities 
  • Mentor and coach team members under direct line management and Project Managers from the program 
  • Take responsibility for employees from line management appraisal process as well as staff development for the department  
  • Understand the telecom market and RSystems’ solutions and products, identify new areas of business 

Bring along:

  • A good university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline 
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time working experience in an IT company after completing your degree  
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management position in a similar business 
  • Experience with managing software development projects  
  • Experience with high-performance systems and computer communications protocols 
  • Experience with being in contact with customers 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines 
  • The ability to learn quickly, utilize new concepts, and find creative solutions to problems
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, including a solid English level
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude and great analytical and organizational skills
