R Systems is looking for a talented and passionate Redis Software engineer to join our growing team focused on software development for the telecom industry.

Your contribution
- Toss a proprietary in-memory database and replace it with REDIS
- Radically change the solution to deal with the new data store
- Completely redesign the schema used to define the format, tables, indexes, sizing, triggers for the information kept there
- Set this up in a geo-redundant environment and tune everything to have as high performance/throughput as possible
Bring along
- REDIS schema (including triggers) design and tuning background, as well as experience in architecting a REDIS geo-redundant configuration and achieving the highest performance possible with it, given the resources available
- Experience with containers is also highly desirable
- Advanced English speaking and writing skills
- Physical layout arch and design expertise
- Logical (data model) arch and design expertise
- Performance expertise
