AI Platform Engineer

R Systems is searching for an experienced AI Platform Engineer to join our team of innovators!

We’re seeking a seasoned and driven Senior AI Engineer with a passion for scalable systems, AI-driven services, and cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. This is an opportunity to lead innovation in high-performance backend engineering and help shape our next-generation platform.

Your contribution:

Design, implement, and optimize highly available, low-latency online services with a strong emphasis on AI-related applications
Architect and lead development of Knowledge Graph systems, including metadata ontology, graph databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Drive end-to-end product cycles following DevOps best practices, from coding to deployment and monitoring
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Manage infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform
Build and deploy resilient applications in cloud-native (AWS) and/or cloud-agnostic (Kubernetes) environments

Bring along:

8+ years of experience in software engineering or a closely related field (internships or personal projects excluded)
Proficiency in Python or Java
Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains:
- Scalable, sub-millisecond online service architectures
- Complex Knowledge Graph systems and associated technologies
Proven experience building in a DevOps culture, delivering robust code from development through production
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure:
- AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Batch, ECS
- Kubernetes-based solutions for cloud-agnostic deployment
