On November 15, 2018, in Bern, we celebrated the opening of our R Systems office in Switzerland, located in the city of Neuchatel.
The launch of this office in starts a new chapter in our journey, reinforcing our engagement with long-term Swiss clients and creating exciting new opportunities for our business partnerships.
The opening event gathered more than 30 of our Swiss clients and partners, as well as representatives of the R Systems teams in Romania and Poland, including R Systems Chef Executive Officer, Raluca Rusu, and R Systems Suisse Director, Elena Timofte.
Guest speaker at the event was Alex Gavan, leading Romanian high altitude mountaineer and successful climber of six 8000m peaks in the Himalayas. He shared from his experience in climbing expeditions, drawing a parallel to high-stake software projects with regard to the effort, perseverance and the importance of trustworthy partners along the way.
As mentioned by Raluca Rusu and Elena Timofte in their welcome speeches at the event, the opening of a R Systems office in Switzerland reinforces our engagement in supporting local clients through closer cooperation and improved communication, while constantly focusing on delivering high quality services. Just as in high altitude climbing, aiming for the top is a guiding principle in planning for the future and going forward.
