Fueling the passion for IT: our continuous support of young tech talents in Galati

A famous quote says that education is the passport to the future, and that tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. We have always believed in the potential of young tech talents, which is why we actively support initiatives that reward their curiosity and growth.

With that in mind, it was an honor for us to sponsor, for the third year in a row, the “Severin Bumbaru” IT creativity contest, organized by the Faculty of Automation, Computers, Electrical Engineering and Electronics in Galati.

Gathering hundreds of brilliant young minds from middle school all the way to college, the contest included categories such as C++/C# programming, web design, mobile applications and artificial intelligence, and rewarded the most creative projects. As members of the jury, selecting the winners was no easy task, and we were impressed by the talented students showcasing their innovative projects and solutions.

Also at the invitation of FACIEE Galati, our team attended a workshop about creativity and IT in interactive and practical learning. It was an open discussion on the importance of creativity and teaching, new and emerging technologies, as well as the long-term collaboration between the Faculty and the local IT community to support young talents.

It was a pleasure for us to attend these two events and we are thankful to FACIEE Galati, for including us in their proactive and modern initiatives. We would also like to thank our colleagues: Adriana Stratulat and Florin Grigore, who were in the jury, and Liviu Beldiman, who facilitated our collaboration with FACIEE and is always connected with the local academic community.
