We are looking for a Senior Solution Designer to join a mature digital technology team working on an enterprise integration layer that connects digital channels with core and third-party systems.
This is not a hands-on development role. The main focus is on technical analysis, solution design and documentation, supporting multiple digital initiatives that depend on a reusable, stable and continuously improved integration platform.
Your contribution:
- Analyse business requirements, use cases and user stories and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Design integration flows between digital applications, core systems and third-party platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as request-response mappings, sequence diagrams, flow diagrams, API specifications and HLD/LLD documentation.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, other Solution Designers, Product Owners and development teams to define feasible and scalable technical solutions.
- Support the delivery process by clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies and ensuring the proposed solution is aligned with business and technical needs.
- Provide technical input for troubleshooting and production investigations when needed, while full production support is handled by a dedicated support team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement, stability and reusability of the integration platform.
- Support the use of AI tools for improving and accelerating documentation-related activities.
Bring along:
- Senior-level experience in a technical role such as Solution Designer, Technical Analyst, Integration Analyst, API Designer or similar.
- Strong understanding of complex enterprise systems and integrations between applications.
- Good knowledge of APIs: REST, SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or similar.
- Experience with technical documentation, including request-response mappings, sequence diagrams, flow diagrams, API specifications and HLD/LLD.
- Experience working with Solution Architects, developers, technical analysts and Product Owners.
- Ability to understand high-level diagrams, technical dependencies and integration constraints.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with ambiguity in a complex enterprise environment.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Java and CI/CD knowledge, mainly for understanding the capabilities and limitations of the technical stack.
- Experience with microservices-based platforms.
- Experience or knowledge of ecommerce, retail IT flows or payment integrations.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
- Experience using Confluence for technical documentation.
- Exposure to AI tools or AI agents used for documentation generation.
The working schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and is carried out in a hybrid regime, involving presence in the office for 2 out of the 5 working days. A different number of days of presence in the office may be required in the future, depending on local or global policies
