Getting together for Charity Cake Day has become a tradition in R Systems, and we were excited to see how colleagues across all offices got together to share delicious deserts and contribute to noble causes. It is with immense joy and pride that we announce the results of this heartwarming initiative.
In Romania, in Bucharest and Galati, we supported our long-time partner Ajungem Mari, the funds raised being used to organize outings for institutionalized children: concerts, museum visits, science or art camps. Every such interaction can help them socialize, integrate in the community, boost their self-esteem, and make new friends. Meanwhile, in Craiova, we partnered with Clubul Programatorilor and supported the medical treatment of a member of the local IT community, currently struggling with a serious health condition.
In Moldova, we collaborated with Casa de Milostenie Sfanta Cneaghinea Elizaveta, who were also our partners for the Christmas campaign. Their goal is to provide warm meals and essential supplies to those in need.
In Poland, we supported a local foundation from Białystok, Fundacja Jasny Cel (Clear Goal Association). Their mission is to provide comprehensive assistance to children with cerebral palsy and other motor function disorders. The funds will go towards purchasing an AC unit for the foundation, essential for the coming summer months.
Together, we’ve raised a total of 1,870 EUR, and R Systems doubled this amount, donating 2,000 to further amplify the impact of these initiatives.
