Insights into the internship experience at R Systems

The R Systems Programming Academy is an annual paid internship and employment program dedicated to students, junior programmers and seasoned IT professionals looking to build or develop their careers in the digital technology domain. 

We are proud to have guided more than 10 generations of interns into successful IT careers in various technologies. We blend intensive technical trainings with hands-on projects and mentorship sessions for a full learning and work experience alongside R Systems experts in Romania, Poland and Moldova.

The online academy had two great benefits. First, we were able to record all the sessions and that helped when I needed to review the information again at leisure. Second, we were able to participate alongside our colleagues from Moldova. I'm not sure how this would have been possible, had the academy been in person, so I'm grateful that I got to know more people this way.

I had a beautiful, complex, and rewarding internship experience with R Systems. What I loved most about it was that there was always someone around I could ask for help or advice. I met people who had stayed with the company for 5, 10, or more years, industry pros with decades of hands-on experience that happily shared their insights and resources with me. The theory/practice ratio was also optimal; things never got boring because I could actually interact with people and see what it’s like to work for a global company, on a real project.
