R Systems strives to help vulnerable communities and encourages employees to get involved in social support initiatives across the markets where we operate.
Our latest social support campaign, Charity Cake Day, united teams in six locations in Romania, Poland, and Moldova, who brought their tasty desserts to the office and together raised funds for our four partnering NGOs:
In Romania, we partnered with Ajungem Mari, an NGO supporting institutionalized children and teenagers through educational programs. The funds raised by our colleagues in Bucharest, Galati, and Craiova will be used by Ajungem Mari to provide a day out or theater course for 250 children.
In Warsaw, we partnered with Beneficjum, an NGO that supports underprivileged seniors. Our donations helped the organization provide food packages for one week for 33 seniors.
In Bialystok, we joined forces with “Pomóż im”, an NGO that supports terminally ill children and their families, and the funds raised were used to provide 16 rehabilitation sessions.
In Moldova, colleagues from the Chisinau office got together to raise money for the Social-Missionary Center „Icoana MD Bucuria tuturor celor necăjiți”, where they went towards purchasing Easter packets for underprivileged children.
In total, our teams raised 2,060 EUR and R Systems doubled the donation, bringing our contribution to a total of 4,120 EUR.
It was a pleasure to see our teams get together again at the office and rally their efforts for this noble cause. We’re extremely grateful for their support and look forward to organizing similar events in the future!
