The R Systems team in Romania, Poland and Moldova have joined forced to help kids living in disadvantaged communities to get ready for the start of the new school year in September.
Independently (in Chisinau) or in cooperation with local NGOs in Bucharest, Galati, Warsaw and Bialystok, we plan to help over 100 kids to have a fair start in the coming school year. Overall we are looking to gather school supplies, as well as clothes, shoes and hygiene products which will be sent to children in disadvantaged communities.
We thank all our colleagues who already joined this campaign, as well as our partners in each location: the Policy Center for Roma and Minorities supporting the children living in Ferentari, Bucharest, Inima de Copil in Galati, Fundacja Szczęśliwej Drogi in Warsaw and Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Rodzinie DROGA in Bialystok.
While education and social support are two of the main areas of corporate social responsibility initiatives in R Systems, we are happy we could also contribute individually and hopefully make the school start a happy moment for as many children as possible.
As we approach the end of each campaign, we will post pictures and share with you all the smiles and joy of the kids, so stay tuned!
Later edit:
In our Warsaw office, the school bags are all prepared to be sent out to the kids and our colleagues can’t help but share the excitement!
In Bucharest, our colleagues delivered the school bags and supplies themselves. It was also a great opportunity to meet the kids and experience the joy together!
In Chisinau, Moldova, we helped a family with 12 children and another family with 4 boys who were extremely happy with their gifts and especially the winter clothes and boots they received.
In Galati, Romania, we gathered 15 school bags along with clothes, shoes and hygiene products, and in partnership with Inima de Copil we sent it all to children in need from Galati and Vaslui counties.
