QA Engineer

R Systems is searching for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team of innovators!

Your contribution:

Create, maintain and execute automated tests to support agile software development and in line with the automation strategy.
Assist in execution and debugging of automated tests occurring from both development processes and from execution within CI/CD pipelines.
Run exploratory and usability tests using various testing tools.
Follow best practices of the QA team and assist in driving the QA strategy.
Help influence developers on how they approach testing, guiding design of development test automation suites.
Analyze new releases to create appropriate testing plans.
Expected to support leading an automation-first and test-driven development mindset across the teams.

Bring along:

3 + years of experience of test automation in programming languages (Python, Java is nice to have).
Experience in testing APIs, REST & SOAP Web services.
Experience with open-source test automation tools (for example, JUnit, Pact, Cucumber, etc.); building automated functional regression test suites.
Experience with Postman, Hoppscotch or similar API testing tools.
Good analytical mind – problem solving skills; on your own or brainstorming with colleagues.
Good investigatory skills – able to find, outline and fix issues that arise in complex microservice deployments.
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written – to talk about your work with both technical and non-technical people.
Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and techniques.
Working experience in Agile development teams and understanding of development processes and concepts.
Strong verbal and written communications skills in English (advanced level)
