Located in the city’s center, the 300 sqm space is designed to accommodate approximately 25 people, and will house a fitness center, numerous meeting rooms and a Customer Experience Center.
The opening of the Craiova office comes during a time of extraordinary accelerated expansion for the company, which has grown by over 20% in 2021 alone, and is expected to continue this pace of growth in 2022 and beyond.
R Systems also has European offices in Poland, Moldova, UK and Switzerland.
We see our newest location as a critical part of our development strategy as well as our continued growth. Craiova is a competitive market, with highly skilled engineers and two well established technical faculties. Our goal is to hire local tech talent, but also connect with the academic and the business communities. At the same time, the company is looking to support the local community by providing students and employees with opportunities to learn or upgrade their skills through the R Systems Programming Academy.
The R Systems Programming Academy is the annual paid internship program for top technology talent. This year, it was extended for students and junior developers in Craiova along with the available positions in all centers in Romania, Poland and Moldova. As part of the same program, starting in January 2022, new career opportunities will be available for experienced engineers looking to enhance their skills with the latest technologies and specific telecom expertise.
